At AWESO, we understand that domestic abuse affects women in many different ways, and the challenges faced by BAME women can be compounded by cultural, societal, and community factors. We are therefore dedicated to empowering and supporting BAME women who have survived or at risk of domestic abuse. We offer a wide range of services tailored to address the distinct challenges faced by BAME women. Our approach is grounded in trauma-informed care, cultural sensitivity, and a commitment to delivering emotional and practical support within a Psychologically Informed Environment, ensuring that the unique needs of each woman are respected and upheld.
