We provide support to BAME women in accessing safe, emergency temporary accommodation, with specialist staff available to offer guidance and support. Our goal is to ensure that women have a secure, supportive environment in which to begin their journey toward safety, healing, and recovery.

About Us

Amani Women’s Empowerment & Support Organisation (AWESO) is a specialist organisation, committed to empowering, supporting, and advocating for Black, Asian, and Minority Ethnic (BAME) women survivors of, or at risk of domestic abuse. Based in the UK and led by and for Black, Asian, and minoritised women, AWESO is dedicated to providing holistic, culturally sensitive, and trauma-informed domestic abuse services to women from BAME communities.
